We&#8217;re On The Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dave loaded the 6 in the trailer yesterday. The overall length of the truck and trailer is over 50 feet! Its a monster.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/daveorhelen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/truck-and-trailer-2.jpg\" alt=\"Truck and trailer\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The trailer is nice and roomy with great tie-down points. Big doors and a new ramp made the drive-in quite uneventful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/daveorhelen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/6-in-trailer-3.jpg\" alt=\"TR6 in trailer\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once the trailer was loaded we did one last walk around to check the air pressure in the tires, etc. The tires on the truck\u00a0don&#8217;t have a lot of miles on them but it looks like we\u00a0ran over some debris from the hurricane when we were bringing the trailer home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/daveorhelen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/truck-tire.jpg\" alt=\"Truck tire damage\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Imagine what would happen if you were driving a 7,000 pound truck at\u00a065mph and you were\u00a0hauling a 4,000 pound trailer when this tire blew. Of course it would have happened in the\u00a0middle of nowhere\u00a0Mississippi.\u00a0A quick trip to the tire store and the truck is once again a safe vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>More later today&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dave loaded the 6 in the trailer yesterday.
